The workshop to spread mental health Awareness amongst masses was organized by AEF on 30th August 2020.

In today’s world, mental health issues are on the rise yet lack acceptance . People who are struggling from numerous health issues are skeptical to seek help. It is important to normalize mental health and seek help when it becomes overwhelming.

Ms. Pooja with the help of Ms. Geetha Vishwanathan has worked hard to put together a workshop to spread awareness on the same

Meditation and Sound Healing workshop was organized by Ms. Geetha Vishwanathan in Bangalore in December 2019.

The workshop focused on effects of sounds and vibrations on our mind and body. It allowed the participants, by way of personal experience as to how different vibrations of different frequencies can be used to calm, heal and re-energize body and mind.

Various Buddisht and Indic mediation sound instruments were used.

Ms Geetha and Ms Pooja, under the banner of AEF put together a healing session for sexually abused women in particular.

Lots of women who go through sexual abuse bear it all silently. Either they lack the courage to share their emotions and suffer in silence or they are threatened and suppressed by people around them due to the fear of judgement and chastisement.

To help them release and heal from the trauma and allow them to feel acceptance in their lives.

To promote hygiene and bring awareness of infections and diseases caused to women by poor hygiene, the sanitary pads distribution and awareness event was organized by AEF in Ekta Camp, Vasant Kunj area of New Delhi with the collaboration of Vasant Kunj Cycling Club.
