Zero waste campaign was started by Mr Praveen Rao in June 2021 and continued till 15th Aug 2021.
It was to bring awareness and guidance for waste segregation and help the environment.
“Zero waste campaign kick started by RWA of C-4.
We requested and encouraged other RWA’s in VK to also initiate such campaigns, as lack of waste management leads to not only air, water and land pollution but also adversely impact animal life both on land and sea, which indirectly impacts us humans as well.
Our focus was on 100% waste segregation, we planned to achieve this goal in next few days and conclude on our 75th Independence Day i.e. on 15th Aug 2021.
It was huge success as is evident from the 2nd phase of the campaign.
